Goodyear National Sales Rallys - Keynote motivational speaker

When the first email came in to be the motivational speaker for Goodyears commercial sales team - I was thrilled as always to have the opportunity to work with first time customer of Bore No More. But there was something different about Tony when I talked to him - he wanted to drive 5 hours round trip to see me present first hand.  Seriously!  I've had people come to presenations but drive for 5 hours - I was IMPRESSED as this guy was doing his homework.

Tony came along and even brought another member of his team to check out the event I did for Juniper Networks.  I really enjoyed speaking with them afterwards and learning more about the tire and rubber business and how we could motivate a team in this somewhat sluggish economy in which we all have goals to increase our percentage of a potentially shrinking market.

Shortly following, I had the opportunity of another visitor; Kelly.  (I am always excited to have people visit one of my presentations if you can't tell). As the event planner for the consumer division they wanted to talk about having me present at both rallies. She was a dream to work with and talk to as were the entire team from Goodyear.

As a keynote speaker you get the chance to meet many, many people. It really is a dream when you can work with people like Mark, Kelly and Tony.  My hats off to you and your entire team who showed me a SHOWTIME moment.  We had two great session out in Kansas City with hundreds of sales members from across the country - If I get any photos from them - I will post with permission.

Smith Barney - Cocktails and strolling Magic - Dec 2008

Always a great time to see old friends who I have known from one company or another who moved to another great company.  Like my friend Gina, now at Smith Barney, whom I had the pleasure of working with once again as the strolling cocktail party magician.  And to boot - the best casino company in the land - Black Diamond Casino Events was there as well to continue the high energy entertainment after dinner.

I believe that events like this really keep you excited about what you do and keep me sharp. In reality, I show up with a deck of cards in my pocket, some coins, dollars and maybe a few other surprised in my pockets.  But with that, I have opportunity to hold a group captivated and in awe...and it's priceless to see their faces, reactions and hear them scream and laugh in disbelief.

They go home with souveniers from their night as they witnessed rings dissappear and end up in impossible locations - along with someone's watch.  Money changes in front of their eyes separate cards which were signed by spectator end up bonded together forever - truly unique sleight-of-hand skills (yes granted...they have taken years to perfect) that mixes comedy, illusion and deception into a memorable night of sleight-of-hand and sleight-of-mouth.

Thank you for the laughs Smith Barney team- it was truly a pleasure to meet and work with you all.
